The Blog at plotlightstudios.com/blog is where PlotLight and RoleCall publish announcements, feature launches, and news about the platform. It's the official record of what's shipped, what's changing, and what the team is thinking about.

If you're wondering whether a feature you heard about is live yet, the blog is the first place to check.

What Gets Posted Here

The blog covers:

  • Feature launches — when a major surface goes live, the first announcement is here. The current featured post, for example, is the Stage Whispers launch ("STAGE WHISPERS IS NOW LIVE"), which went out when the Whispers feed opened to users.
  • Product roadmap updates — when the team shares plans for upcoming features, monetization direction, or platform changes, it comes through the blog.
  • Beta tester rewards and news — announcements relevant to beta testers, including reward structures, access changes, and recognition for early participants.
  • Policy and terms updates — when guidelines or policies change, a plain-language summary appears here before the formal legal pages are updated.
  • Platform milestones — user count milestones, model leaderboard round launches, infrastructure upgrades worth knowing about.

Posts are authored by the PlotLight team. The blog is not a community discussion forum — it's editorial, not comment-driven.

Reading Posts

The blog landing page shows a featured banner post at the top — currently the most prominent active announcement — followed by a list of recent posts with titles and short summaries.

Individual posts are at /blog/<slug>. Each post is self-contained: title, publication date, body content. Posts aren't organized into categories, but the team uses consistent H3 headers to break up longer posts so you can skim.

Staying Up to Date

There's no in-app notification for new blog posts — check the blog directly from the nav. The Blog link appears in the top navigation across the entire PlotLight site.

If you're a beta tester, the blog is the canonical place where beta-related rewards and milestones are announced. When the team posts "here's what beta testers get," this is where it appears.
